Spotted this nice example on M & M Investment Cars. A nice example of the S500, this one from 1996 just before the facelift (no side airbags or reversing sensors etc in the bumpers on this one). Nice looking car, looks great in white. Check out the other S500 coupes on the register below.

It's been a while since one has been added to the register - this one another NZ vehicle with the unique New Zealand stripes. This interesting Australian Clubman GT (with chassis prefixe YG2S8) was advertised for sale with turners.co.nz in June 2019. It appears to have an 1100S 1275cc engine in it, enhanced and modified. This is my 1996 CL500 (Australian delivered C140 coupe - future classic), which I purchased in June 2019, with approximately 157,000km on the clock. An extremely rare car these days, you'd be lucky to see a couple a year on the roads - reason being that there were so few built globally (less than 30,000, and probably less than 1,000 for the Australian market?). A very rare New Zealand delivered new MK2 Cooper S finished in Island Blue. This example was advertised on trademe NZ in May 2019. Looks to have been very well restored to its original specifications. I think this is the first Austin on the register which is a NZ new car! All rebuilt to original specifications.
