Finally adding another to the register - this XR8 Spring ED Falcon was advertised on Lloyds auctions Australia in January 2022. I'd expect the car will sell at least in the early 20s. From the images, the car looks in great condition for its age, and someone's clearly looked after it knowing that it was going to be a modern classic. Relatively low Ks, and that classic 90s coloured trim. Love it...

Lovely blue example of the CR8 Sprint spotted on Ebay in early 2022, asking 69,000! Just a few years ago, you could get these for under 15K.. Very rarely do they come up, but at the moment there are two on gumtree Australia. This one, spotted in May 2020, was asking $25,000. Limited details were given in the advertisement, but the car looks to be in excellent condition, with its original SVO type wheels, great paint and low km for the car's age. The 5th on our small register of XR8 Sprints. This one looks to have been kept in very original condition, with reasonably low mileage for its age (215,000km). Spotted in February 2019 - another rare XR8 Sprint from 1004 added to the register. This onw was asking $18,900 at the time. Notably the quickest Australian Ford in its day - quicker than the GT, having the same engine but a lot less weight. This example was advertised on carsales in November 2018, asking $25,000 AUD. A rare car and becoming increasingly desirabe, having the same engine as the EB II Falcon GT, but in a lighter package. Rare and increasingly desirable - this XR8 SPrint was offered on Gumtree Australia in October 2017, asking $15,000 (AUD). Not a bad price if it is indeed a genuine XR8 SPrint, which are known to be better performers than the ED GT (although, they miss out on the luxury equipment and great body kit)..
