This Austin 7 Chummy has undergone a recent restoration (in 2008), and is in very good condition. This is an early 1928 Chummy, as distinguished from the later models by the location of the headlamps. Earlier Chummy cars have headlamps located just in front of their windscreen, as is the case on this particular car. Later models had headlights located more conventionally at the front of the car.
This car is believed to be an all British car. Many Austin 7's are seen coming from Australia and New Zealand, where they were they were originally exported, and often bodied in those countries.
