1955 Nash Ambassador Custom (sedan)

Advertised on Ebay USA in August 2022, this Ambassador Custom doesn't look too bad from a distance, but on closer look under the side of the car, those sills don't look too healthy! When I spotted this one, it has less than 24 hours to run, with bids up to $10,000 USD. That's actually fairly strong performance. Great colour combo, continental kit and the famous Nash "Weather Eye" on the dash - a real 50s icon! In the original ad, the seller made the following comments:

This car has been in storage for a few years. Recently got out of storage, cleaned up, and got it on the road. It has a new battery, fresh gas, dual carbs gone through, and it is road worthy. The pictures tell and show almost all the information you may need. It starts right up, runs and drives and stops as it should. little puffs a smoke when first started from sitting, but it is slowly clearing up. 6 cylinder engine, automatic transmission. All the windows work as they should. This car is overall a very nice car with the exception of a few blemishes. Very little work needs to be done to make this 100% show worthy and ready to roll. Pictures show rust down low. Car is sold as is, where is with no warranty expressed or implied. Local pick up in Kentucky or shipping available.

A few Nash cars on the register now - looking forward to getting a few of these beautiful Ambassedor's listed.
