1966 Volkswagen Van T1 Samba Bus

With an asking price of $119,000 USD you know there is going to be a lot of interest in this car. With a similar model being sold in Australia for over $200,000 USD only a few years ago you can be assured that these probably are not going to drop in price anytime soon. With a limited number produced, these later 1960s models were the last produced on the T1 chassis before they moved to the 70s era square front. Being the last on the chassis this gave this particular model the classic 50s look but with the advancement in engine tech and chassis stiffening of the 1960s.

This particular example was restored professionally in 2000. This included a full body respray and mechanical rebuild of both the gearbox and motor and it is because of this that at the current price point it is estimated that this car will not last long (July 2017)!
