Build number 072 of 200 from a rare batch of Australian GTS Skyline R31 sedans. This car was advertised in 2006 - believed to be on the R31 Skyline forums, and was asking $9,000 (AUD). If anyone has seen or owned the car since, or knows of its whereabouts, please get in touch so we can update the cars profile. At the time of last sale in 2006, the seller made the following comments:
"Selling my NSV GTS1 it is in excellent condition and has been garaged since I bought it and most of its life judging by the condition of the paint. I bought it back in December 2005 and since have put around 2,000kms on it (mostly highwaykms). It is sitting just under 200,000kms (199,500ish ATM).
Is stock standard including:
- Standard exhaust
- Standard Airbox
- Original GTS1 Wheels and spoiler
- Re-covered Scheel Sports Seats (original only in the GTS1's)
- Re-upholstered Momo Steering wheel (original only in the GTS1's)
- Re-build Bilstein Suspension (original only in the GTS1's)
- Tinted Windows
- Pioneer CD/MP3 Player and 4 aftermarket speakers
- NT81 Novatronics Immobiliser (upto Australian Standards)
In December I had a Stateroads check on it and it passed with flying colours, so any test welcome. Car is in supurb condition for it's age and goes quite well for an N/A. It's definately a collectors item and a great car!!!"
For those that don't know these cars, this is an Australian special edition Nissan Skyline R31, known as the GTS1 Silhouette. All the GTS1 cars were painted white. Some of the visually distinguishing features of the car included 16" white powder coated 11 spoke wheels, rear spoiler, unique SVD / Silhouette decals and sports cloth interior - along with the unique badging. The cars were fitted with a turbocharged RB30 engine and stage 1 camshaft, producing 130kw, and were only available in manual transmission. Extractors, and 2.25" exhaust and an LSD were also fitted standard.
