This EL GT is number 004 of only 265 built, being the 30th anniversary edition which followed on from the EB GT 25th anniversary edition. The EL GT was fitted with a 200kw V8 engine, and was based on the luxury Fairmont Ghia, with leather interior, full electronics, GT body kit and many other unique features. This one has a factory sun-roof with all original GT items included, and was asking $35,000 in January 2017, located in Melbourne.
Prices of these GTs have plateaued for some time, with most cars now advertised asking $30,000 +. Given the low production numbers, we’d expect these prices to remain firm going forward, as these cars represent one of the most unique late Australian muscle cars available.
