This 1966 MK1 Cooper S is a genuine English bodied car - one of just 48 assembled of this type in Australia. The car presents beautifully, and has undergone a substantial restoration, and has been with the current owner since 1989.

Substantial maintenance has been conducted over the last couple of years, including a reconitoned cylinder head (with stainless steel valves and a mild cam), the installation of a heavy duty radiator, new starter motor, alternator, electric fuel pump, electronic distributor and upgraded fuse box. The car is fitted with a MK2 Cooper S 1275cc engine, and MK2 full synchro box. All the Cooper S features are present, and the car is ready to be enjoyed.
