One of the greatest sporting minis to come out of South Africa, up for sale is my 1974 Mini GTS, one of only 734 built in that year. The GTS was introduced as a high performance model to make up for the absence of the Cooper S, sitting a notch above the Mini 1275 GT. These cars are becoming very rare, and had a lot of unique features, particularly the engine which was very close to Cooper S specifications. See this link for further details on Mini GTS cars generally: https://classicregister.com/id-guides/info-guide-1973-1980-leyland-mini-gts.
The vehicle offered is currently licensed and all paperwork is in order. It has a 7 speaker sound system with custom wood interior, and its original full beige vinyl seats. The body requires some attention, as shown in the images. The original 1275cc motor was recently rebuilt and has done about 1,000 KM since. A few original items will come with the car, including the original tail lights (late model lights currently fitted), steering wheel and instrument cluster.
This is a complete and running car that's priced to sell at R 58,000 (negotiable). For inspections or further questions, please contact Herman by logging in and clicking the 'Contact Seller' button above.
