Great example advertised on BAT in 2024 - it passed in at about $20K USD. The seller noted it was delivered new to Stark’s Motor Sales of Toronto, Ontario, Canada. It was imported to the US under previous ownership, and was purchased by the current owner in 2023. The car is finished in gold over gold and brown upholstery, and power comes from a 289ci R1 V8 paired with a four-speed manual transmission. Great colour in the gold! Update:

The same car was spotted for sale on craigslist in January 2026, located in Scottsdale Arizona, asking $40,000. The seller the following at the time of sale: We have had this Studebaker for a family car for Church and such. It's extremely nice with just 4900 miles. The version was produced in Canada and in very limited number as presented. As the story goes it's either 1 of 6 police versions produced as represented from who I purchased the car from or as the Studebaker museum provides information unseen and based on serial number chassis and engine in the car "the R1 engine is from one of the six police cars" either way it is extremely worthy of seeing if interested.

4,909 miles

We do have historic papers and books for the car to include previous owner. They are in the images.
