This August complied 1978 LS was advertised on Gumtree Australia in January 2021, asking $28,000 AUD. Looks like a solid car, that has had a repaint and re-trim at some stage, so little to spend on the body work.. This hardtop sedan was one of the best luxury Japanese sedans of the 1980s (which was a very competitive sector).. There tend to be more of the slightly smaller 929 sedans around, but these super luxury larger versions I think are the nicest. We know these all too well, but it surprises me how many NZ Mini Clubman GTs (the Australian ones) have survived - there were less than a couple of hundred exported there. Another Silver Monarch LTD spotted on Gumtree.com.au in December 2021, this one asking $50,000 AUD ONO.. The seller noted it was Restored in 2013 and has refurbished upholstery, carpets, door cards, vinyl roof and a reconditioned engine.
