1973 Datsun 180B SSS Coupe

This project 180B SSS was advertised on Facebook marketplace asking $12,000 in April 2022. The car has been painted yellow - but if you look at the overspray in the engine bay, I think it may have originally been black. The brown seats fitted in the front and rear I also presume are not original - given the carpets and the door trims are all blue - which surely wouldn't have been matched with brown trim. The seller at the time of offering noted that the car has a 200B engine, but it's not running, needing a new timing chain. Supposedly, rust was cut out of it 20 years ago and it been stored in a garage ever since. Not sure whether the rust was just cut out or actually repaired - there looks to be some holes in the sills.

Nice to get another one of these popular SSS coupes on the register.
