There have been a few of these XJCs coming up for sale in Australia in the last year or so - a few of them projects like this. Worth saving, this example was asking just $6,750 AUD.. A great base for a project.. The seller noted in the original ad "Aus Delivered Matching numbers One of 140 examples delivered new to Australia Project car with rust in the usual places. Worth more in parts."

Australian delivered 1977 Jaguar XJC 4.2L finished in Old English White with Biscuit velour trim. This example was advertised on Ebay Australia in October 2024, asking $50,000 AUD. Found online in April 2024, asking $65,000 AUD, located in Victoria Australia. These are very rare Jag coupes, and I think the best looking full size coupes built! Looking great in this colour combo, this one seems reasonably valued. See the others on the register.

A rare unrestored example spotted on Facebook marketplace in March 2023 ,, in Sydney NSW. This example was asking $17,000 at the time - looks to need a full restoration, but seems quite saveable.. Presumably in its original silver, it has had the vinyl roof removed and the metal looks good. Great project for a car that would be worth closer to $80K restored.

The XJC is the lowest production number classic Jaguar coupe, and unsurprisingly they are fetching some fairly big $$ nowadays. This 6-cylinder XJC was advertised on Ebay USA in October 2018, asking $14,500 - prices of these are ar bargain levels in what we expect will be very valuable Jags in future. This particular example needs restoration, but looks relatively solid with the seller stating it was restored in 2003 and has been garaged since. Ckeck out the others on the XJC register.

Spotted on Craigslist in September 2018, asking $18,500 (USD) - 1977 Jaguar XJ6 Coupe Series II - Signal red with black vinyl top. 4.2 litre, Automatic, matching numbers, all original with 1 repaint, 86k original miles. Spotted on Anglia Car Auctions in August 2018 - not many details provided, asking 8,000 GBP.. Advertisement stated: Stored in their hay barn for thirty‑two years, the vendor describes it as remaining remarkably sound and complete. The engine turns. It comes with the old style V5, several documents confirming the warranted 37,215 miles, owner's handbook, oil charts and tax discs from 1983 to 1987.
