This 1994 Series 1 S500 came up for sale in February 2023, asking $39,000. It's got relatively low mileage at just 189,000, and appears to have been kept in excellent condition. The leather trim and paint look great (at least, in the images). It's on the higher end of the price spectrum, but this is to be expected for this series of Benz nowadays - one of the lowest production coupes in what was one of the company's best era's for quality.

The seller noted the car comes with all books, and is in stunning original condition. Clearly, it's just been used as a weekender. The great thing is, in a year's time, this car will be eligible for club registration.

This car is the 19th C140 S500/CL500 on the register. We've been tracking these as they come up for sale quite closely in Australia over the last 4 years, and having less than 20 (a couple of which are imports) demonstrates just how rare the 140 series Mercedes coupe is in this country.
