1997 Mercedes C140 CL500 Coupe

There seem to be a few imports we're coming across recently - one was recently advertised on Grays or Lloyds auctions, but this one was spotted on carsales.com.au asking $23,000 AUD in June 2021. The car looks in great condition, and is a late model 140 CL with bumper sensors all round and a few of the other updates the car received after 1995. Very rare in Aus, this appears to be an import (likely from the UK - given it has  Miles / KM speedometer which most were fitted with over there). It's unlikely it is from Japan or other RHD markets, as they all would have been fitted with metric clusters, like the Australian cars.

Interesting to see these come up, there aren't manuy. The mileage by the way is in Miles, not km, so this car is looking at being just over 200,000km. Not too bad as tchese enginese will doi a million if well maintained..
