This car was advertised on FB marketplace in mid 2022 - and claims to be a 1996 model CL500. I suspect it's been re-badged. It is fitted with the older 4-speed transmssion and has all series 1 features/trim - so should be badged S500 (or 500sec if it's a really early one).

While being an early car, I would have also though it would be two tone. You don't see many single tone paint colour series 1 cars - most of those were series II. A bit confusing that's for sure.

Nonetheless, this is a good looking example in its original Almandine paint ovver beige leather trim. The seller claims it is an Australian delivered car, but we haven't seen its compliance plate. Ovr 200,000km, but a fair bit has been spent by the sound of it (Recently replaced battery, a/c condenser, blower fan, distributor points, etc).
