Another 560 SEC AMG wide body added to our register. We have seen a few of these come up for sale recently, and unsurprisingly, they have demanded a fair bit of money. This one was found for sale on Ebay USA in March 2016. The seller at the time noted the following interesting facts about the car, and the AMG division: "AMG received a series of orders from several prominent Japanese private...

Another GTR V-Spec II added to our register. This one came up for sale on carsales.com.au in February 2016. The vehicle is described as completely original, and all of the correct V-Spec parts appear to be in place. This car is one of only 1,303 produced, and would certainly be one of very few in Australia (we have seen less than 20 come up for sale over the years). If you are looking at buying a...

The owner of this car got in touch with us and has provided details of this rare LS for our register. This is one of very few Iridium Green 998 LS cars produced in 1977/1978 in the lead up to the release of the 1275LS. The current owner is now undertaking a full restoration of the car back to bare metal, and intends to restore it to its original specification. A few more images just added showing...

This is the second AMG Wide Body 6.0 Mercedes on Classic Register. This one was offered for sale by RM Sotheby's in January 2016, with credit to them for the fantastic photographs of the cars. Click here for their auction website. The 560SEC itself is an amazing car, but this, we believe is one of the most unique Benz cars you can ever own, and comes from an era where quality of construction was...

Studebaker
This is a very rare Studebaker Daytona coupe from 1964. This particular car was for sale on Ebay, located in Glendale Arizona in December 2015. The car is in need of a full restoration, but appears salvageable, with the correct engine (likely the original unit), and remnants of the original blue paint. The seller notes that the car is not running, and has no brakes, but indicates that the body is...

This is a very rare wide body AMG 6.0L coupe, which was up for sale on Ebay in November 2015. The was originally a Japanese domestic market model, despite the left hand drive. Leyland
This is an interesting mini who's body may not in fact be an LS. The LS ID tag appears to be attached to the shell using aftermarket screws, and there do not appear to be flare backing panels extending down the front mudguard edge, suggesting that the shell may be a standard Leyland mini. Either way, the ID tag is LS, and it makes it onto the register for that reason. This car was found for sale...

This is the last 1275LS to be produced, and obviously the highest chassis number known. This car is quite well known, being located at the Birdwood motor museum Australian Motor Museum in South Australia. The car was donated by Leyland at the end of mini production. Unlike the previous ten cars to this one, this car was not actually fitted with a plaque on the dash confirming it was the last made...
