The owner of this car got in touch with us and has provided details of this rare LS for our register. This is one of very few Iridium Green 998 LS cars produced in 1977/1978 in the lead up to the release of the 1275LS. This is an interesting mini who's body may not in fact be an LS. The LS ID tag appears to be attached to the shell using aftermarket screws, and there do not appear to be flare backing panels extending down the front mudguard edge, suggesting that the shell may be a standard Leyland mini.
